After being awarded in 2023 and 2024, the MAI Group has once again received the kununu Top Company Seal this year. This award recognizes companies that are distinguished by exceptionally high employee satisfaction and maintain an outstanding corporate culture. The basis for this award is the independent ratings provided by employees on the platform.

Each year, only about five percent of all companies receive this award, highlighting the significance of the seal. "The Top Company Seal is a strong signal for talent looking for their ideal workplace", emphasizes Nina Zimmermann, CEO of kununu.

With the Top Company award, the MAI Group ranks among the best employers in Germany, standing out due to its exceptional work environment.

We congratulate the MAI Group on receiving the Top Company Seal once again,” says Nina Zimmermann, CEO of kununu. "This award is given to only five percent of companies that have received particularly positive reviews on kununu. It stands for recognition and appreciation and sends a strong signal to potential applicants. Additionally, the seal not only has an external impact but also strengthens the corporate culture. 52 percent of the seal holders received feedback from their employees about the award—77 percent of this feedback was explicitly positive.”

"The kununu Top Company Seal 2025 is a valuable confirmation of our continuous efforts to create a work environment where our employees feel valued and supported. We are pleased that our commitment to a positive corporate culture is also recognized by our employees. This seal motivates us to continue investing in the satisfaction and development of our teams and to grow as an attractive employer." – Fenja Harder, HR | People & Culture at MAI Group.

To qualify for the kununu Top Company Seal 2025, a company must meet the following criteria:

  • At least seven employee reviews since the profile was created. Reviews from applicants are not counted.
  • A score of at least 3.8 stars (out of a maximum of 5), both overall and for employee reviews.
  • Over the past twelve months, the employee review score must be at least 3.8 stars.
  • At least two new reviews in the last twelve months. An updated review is also counted as a new review.

A kununu survey of companies that were awarded the Top Company Seal last year found that 56 percent of respondents somewhat agreed, and 13 percent fully agreed, with the statement that the seal had improved their competitiveness in the race for qualified professionals. Moreover, more than half of last year's Top Companies (58 percent) reported an increase in the number of applications triggered by the award.
